Kellie Martin (born Kellie Marien) is an acclaimed American actress. Kellie Martin has appeared in many films and TV series, including "Christy", a story of a girl named Christy Huddleston. Other notable roles include her title character in her role in the Hailey Dean Mystery series. Martin began her acting career at the age of was seven years old. The aunt of her mother, who worked as the nanny for actor Michael Landon's children, helped her land one small part on the 1982 TV series Father Murphy. Following her graduation from Yale University, she took acting more seriously and landed significant roles both on the small screen and the big screen. Martin was also as a dancer and photographer. Her sister who passed away due to Lupus aged 19 was the inspiration behind her becoming the Lupus National spokesperson.
